Stamps offer endless possibilities for creating your own unique embellishments. Today, I played with some of my image stamps, watercolours and patterned paper. And with a little bit of handcutting, I was able to make my own embellishments.
To create the flower accents on this ATC, I stamped various flower images on heavy-weight watercolour paper. The ink I used was Versafine ink (Onyx Black) as this ink is water-resistant and will not bleed when watercoloured over. I roughly coloured in the images with watercolour crayons and then applied a blender pen over the colours to create a watercoloured look. Once the images have dried, I cut around the flowers with my micro-tip scissors.
On this tag, I simply stamped the butterfly image over patterned paper using Versafine ink. Instant colour! Then I just cut the image, folded it slightly for a 3-d look and glued it down. So easy!
Have a nice day and happy stamping!
