It's Friday! and you know what that means.... tonight is our Free 4 All Crop night at the store!  Come join us for some scrapbooking fun from 5:30pm to midnight.  Call the store to reserve your seat for tonight or any upcoming Friday night.

We have some new products arriving soon.... oh be still my beating heart! Basic Grey's June Bug and Lemonade lines will soon be on the shelves.  I was busy at the store yesterday moving stock to make room for these new arrivals....you do not want to miss out. 

Be sure to stop by the store to see what else is new,  items are just "popping" onto the shelves, it's like a treasure hunt!  Come in and find what's new, since you were last in to see us.

Don't forget about our Crop Room Sale taking place tomorrow, Saturday, May 30th from 10 am to 5 pm. We will have 25 cent papers and 40 cent/metre ribbon and we will also be featuring a Quickutz blowout. You will need to see these prices to believe them. We will have some discontinued items that are hard to find. If you are a Quickutz fan, you will definately want to check out this sale.

New Arrivals and some Inspiration

I've always been a fan of Collage Press with their bold prints, clean clines and bright colours, but then they released Sweet Shoppe and Knave of Hearts and I really fell in love.

When I walked into work at Pick of the Patch a couple of weeks ago I couldn't believe that what I was seeing was from the same paper company. Their newest releases are distressed to the max, but still maintain those bold, rich colours I had loved before, and the distressing, why, it speaks to my love of the vintage.

Sweet Shoppe is full of bright colours with a chocolate and cupcake theme. Anyone who knows me knows I never say no to anything chocolate and my kids are cupcake lovers. I had such a hard time deciding which papers to chose that I bought nearly the entire line. The new die cut circles are so innovative and I can't wait to work with those next, but this is what I was inspired to create first. I love that despite the pinks, this paper works just as well for a boy layout.

 

The Knave of Hearts is fabulous too with a focus on the men in our lives, and more masculine papers you just might be inspired to make some Father's Day projects, however many of these papers will work just as well for the women in your life.

Collage Press has outdone themselves, come on in, check it out, I know you'll fall in love with it all too.

New Arrival - Baby Safari

Oh my goodness! The Baby Safari collections from Little Yellow Bicycle have arrived and they are too cute for words. There is a collection for boys and one for girls but the papers from each group work well together so there are lots and lots of patterned paper options. We also brought in many embellishments including adorable flannel animal stickers, die cut photo mats, & cardstock stickers.

Even though my "baby" is 14 years old now, I can't wait to scrap some of his older photos that I haven't gotten to. Maybe I was just waiting for the perfect paper collection all these years!

POTP Store News

Wow! We had some very busy shoppers during our Boxing Day Blog Sale. Colleen & I will be busy filling orders and getting them out to you as soon as humanly possible. Thanks for your patience as I took a much needed vacation.

The unfortunate thing about vacations is that they end. And the POTP store is busy, busy, busy. It's the dreaded stock-taking time. I'm sure we will uncover lots of items that never made it into the store so watch for some new items popping up. Just added were the the Foyer & Woodhouse collections from Melody Ross at Chatterbox. These papers are gorgeous and so versatile.

 

Guess what is right around the corner? The CHA Winter trade show in Annaheim. This is the industry's largest trade show and we are sure to find lots of new goodies. We need to make room so watch that sale section for some great bargains.
